Celebrating Social Inclusion Week

Social Inclusion Week is an important national initiative in Australia, aimed at encouraging communities to reconnect and be inclusive of all cultures, age groups, nationalities and abilities.

At Eremea, inclusion isn’t just a value, it’s part of who we are. As a provider of home and community care services across aged care and disability support, we see firsthand how connection and belonging positively impact lives.

Why Inclusion Matters To Us
We believe inclusion is essential for wellbeing. Social isolation, particularly for older Australians and people living with a disability, is a growing concern. Through our services and community outreach, we aim to create environments where people are seen, heard and valued.

Our team members come from diverse backgrounds and work daily to provide person-centred care that reflects the unique needs, values and cultures of our clients.

Social Inclusion Week gives us an opportunity to highlight the amazing diversity in our communitie, and to recommit to building a society that celebrates it.

How You Can Get Involved
You can take part in Social Inclusion Week by:
✅ Hosting a community gathering, lunch or storytelling session
✅ Attending a local inclusive event
✅ Reaching out to someone who may be feeling isolated
✅ Encouraging open conversations about inclusion and belonging

Even small actions can make a big difference.

At Eremea, we’re proud to support Social Inclusion Week and to champion inclusive practices throughout the year. Together, we can build a community where no one is left behind.
